It's not impossible that both the T-100 and John Connor learned about phone books before traveling back in time, but I find it somewhat unlikely that both did, especially the latter. If you were to take the average person from the current year, have them time travel 100 years ago, and have them try to use the tools of that era, they would be totally befuddled. And we have the time to learn about those things since we're not in the middle of a global nuclear war for the survival of our species!

I don't know why the Google assistant sucks so badly at recognizing when it's being hailed, but I sound like the Terminator in this comic multiple times per day. Sometimes I just give it up and type my question like it's 2016. Sometimes I think it's ignoring me because it's tired of me asking questions about the relative power levels of Pokémon. What's funny is my younger son will emulate me, and just keep repeating, "Hey Google", even when the assistant is listening.
