Another one of my very earliest ideas that I had years ago, along with Coal. If I had to pick one idea I've had that matches my original vision for these comics, it would be this one - bleak but goofy.

The idea started with how to make a weather joke about nuclear winter, and very soon I had the idea for nuclear spring break. It made me chuckle. I could totally see this being a joke that nobody in the world other than me likes, but I get a real kick out of it, so it makes the cut.

The early image models actually did a pretty good job with this one; much better than the others. Almost nothing changed between then and now. I did add the Duck and Cover sign, which I think is pretty cute.
