So much has been said about the COVID era that there's nothing new that I can add. I will not try to convince anyone of anything. People know what they know and anyone who disagrees is brainwashed or something. I remember thinking how crazy some of the things people came to believe during that time were. But what's even crazier is that there are still some people who believe those things, even in hindsight. I do hope that enough people have come to their senses since then to prevent a repeat, but I seriously doubt that to be the case. As long as our culture glorifies weakness and disability, we will always be susceptible to shifts that benefit those who would play the victim.
