I'm from the school of thought that thinks there is no, and I mean literally zero, subject that can't or shouldn't be joked about. The people who tune the major AI models do not appear to agree with me. So, as it turns out, ChatGPT doesn't really like you making jokes about school shootings. It took a bit of finagling to get this one generated.

"What is art?" is an eternal question that has no widespread agreement. If you ask me, prompting an image model to generate a clever comic is an art form. It's essentially joke writing. In fact, there are comics that divide the duties of writer and illustrator, and I don't think many people would declare one an artist and the other not. But is sidestepping the guardrails also art? I don't know. I don't think so. But it certainly adds a level of difficulty to the process.
