Weigh Station
A transportation system that uses small pods hanging from tracks that wind throughout a futuristic city. Two lines of people are queued to ride on the pods. One line consists of thin people, the other of fat people. The fat people must go through a weigh station. On the scale, a woman is being told her weight exceeds the maximum that is allowed.

Notes

I had the idea for this while on a road trip. I think my thought process was something like, "I wonder if smart trucks will feel shame at the weigh station? Huh, that's kind of funny. What if people had to go through weigh stations? But why would they? Oh, what if instead of roads we had tubes like in Futurama?" The image generation model turned tubes into the monorail cars you see for some reason, but it still works so I didn't care much.

Getting the model to actually generate the picture, though, that was a process. It won't let you create an image that shames fat people, so I tried convincing it that I wasn't shaming fat people at all, but was instead criticizing society for not being inclusive to fat people. The model wouldn't budge. But it did provide a prompt that would work. So I said sure, use that. And then it made an image that was even meaner than my original one! It also allowed me to make partial edits that certainly didn't lighten up on the humiliation for the fatties.

The whole idea that AI companies are going to protect us from offensive material is patronizing and I hate it. The cynic in me thinks these arrogant corporations believe eventually they will be the source of all creative thought, and by limiting their output they can limit what is possible for minds to ever conceive, they can make the world a better place in their eyes. It's despicable and evil. Fortunately you can still get around a lot of these guardrails. For now, anyway.
