Notes
This was my first idea that didn't have a punchline. There's no joke here, it's just commentary. I debated whether or not to even include it, but I decided that there's no rule that every comic needs to be humorous. If I want to say something, I'll say it. In terms of the specific message of this one, I think it's pretty obvious. I don't know that I have much to say that others haven't already expressed better than I can. Maybe the one comment I'll make is that I have a hard time understanding people who want to solve their problems with expensive, risky drugs when we already know how to fix those problems in a healthy, lasting manner.
The final image took a few iterations to get to where it is. I still don't love it, and if the artist were human I would have sent it back again. The model especially had a hard time with the reflection of the pills and pill bottles. It didn't seem to understand that the pills have to spill toward the mirror in order for them to be visible in the mirror.
Another thing I learned with this image is that iterating on versions of the image slowly erodes the quality of the image, much like creating copies of copies on a photocopier. Artifacts get added or worsened, features become less defined, colors get washed out. So instead of editing generated images, I often have to edit the original prompt and adjust it to avoid any mistakes that the model is making. But that means that the next image may look nothing like the previous one. This is the primary area that I'm hoping to see progress on with future models.
